I’ve been spending a reasonable amount of time in search of a dime. I shouldn’t have to explain to you that I’m not talking about currency. (I’m looking for currency as well, but more of the higher-denomination, paper type… but I digress.) obstacles to the search…

In Augusta, I feel like my options are limited and my search crippled. You see Augusta is one of those cities where dimes turn 18 and bounce. There are exceptions to this rule, but for the most part it holds true. So the issue I keep running into is that what I’m left with in Augusta is a selection of sub-par and/or ineligible women (i.e. high school chicks or women with no ambition, multiple children or some other handicap).

Now it’s not like I never run into quality females. The problem is that I run into them in other cities. For example, Atlanta is the kind of city that people flock to, especially successful and attractive women. I’m not saying that there are not a few hidden dimes in Augusta, but what I am saying is that they are few and far in between. I’m saying that it’d be a hell of a lot easier to find a dime in a city with a larger pool to choose from.

the biggest problem of all

The biggest obstacle to the search isn’t the scarcity of dimes, but rather the overabundance of low budget chicks who think they are dimes. If I had a literal dime for every “sub 6″ chick in this town who thought she was a dime piece, well… I’d have a lot of change.

As I’ve stated in a previous entry, the issue with these low-rent chicks is that their illusions of grandeur are quickly shattered when they’re in the vicinity of a true dime. So they do the only thing they can do become gamekillers and shake salt on any attempt to chop up game with the real dimes.

the bright side

I do not intend for this to become a forum of complaint and bellyaching. The fact of the matter is, I live and work in Augusta. Until that changes, I’m just gonna have to keep rocking and rolling. That being said, there ARE dimes in Augusta. They do exist, they’re just really freakin’ hard to find. But anything worth having is worth working for, right?

The best part about finding an Augusta dime is that when you get one, you truly have found a rare thing. It’s like owning the only Bentley in town. Those who know me, know how much I love exclusivity… so I guess the search continues. Unless of course, a dime wants to step up to the plate…
